Aug 15, 2009. Does inserting the new DVD reprogram anything in the player - i.e. can I go. I use a Lockpick from Coastal Tech to restore my Nav override capabilities.. 06 then you have generation 5 and version 9.1 is so far the latest.
Sep 11, 2010. Updating Navigation system RX - Second Generation.. Remove the panel, and inside you will see a DVD slot. Above it is a tab. If I were you, I would look on Ebay for the 9.1 version, which I got cheap.. Just remember, if you still have the override function on your version, you will lose it if you update.

I need to update my navigation maps in the truck.. I baught it but am going to try the newest 8.1 hacked hybird DVD today and see hwo that goes.. still go in and do the bypass so you can still do things with the nav when your in motion.. Edit: I wonder if Toyota will have a new 9.1 disk with the new 2010?
